Today,9-11-09 is the first day I have chosen to look at any pictures of my generation of my brothers taken in Vietnam. It is not as bad as I feared;it still makes me hurt because they were there,and I was here, & I could do only a little bit to protect them & bring them home to us. I was in the 586th sig co. 509th sig battalion 1ST CAV. based at camp Evans we supported the 1ST CAV. and were in charge of power and communcations on the base and LZ's! WE collected data on enemy troop movements! ! Let us not forget those who gave all in the past and future! welcome home brothers!!! Great pictures and a great job showing them!

I was in 2nd platoon "B" 1/7 the year 1966 and carried a camera in the field. I will be sending you some pictures. I have over 100 I think (never counted them). I have writen a book but can't find a publisher. The book is built around my letters home which my wife had kept. Turns out there are 212 of them and a few years ago I started puting them in order on a disk. It was truely therapy and brought back many memories and so I started writing what I was remembering in between the letters. Any way thats my story and I'm sticking to it.
