Leland on the left, Holloway on the right. Holloway and I were always getting mistaken for each other. It looks like we still are 33yrs later (I can't think of anyone I'd rather be mistaken for). Great site, brings back a ton of memories. I have some pics from the field I'll be sending soon (quality is not very good). I even have one with "Evans" in it. A special thanks to Wilbert for posting the pics. I met "Evans" just after he received his purple heart due to a hic site that was overrun. I'd like to see some of the other bravos dial in. Like Roy Barnett, Jerry Bledsoe, Sgt Alexander, Rudolfo Cororna (Corina, Corina), Mike Edmonds, Bob Costa, John Krieger, Chester Olge (Oglethorp), Richard Brace, Ron Sailor, Joe Ruiz (Karate Kid), and (I almost forgot) Gerald Holloway, 200 parkview Pl. Crossfield, TN 38577 (how did you get your address attached to your name and when did you move from Crab Orchard?). Sorry to hear about James Englander "shortround".
I just had my medals shadow boxed about six months ago and hung them in my office. After the events of 9/11/2001 I moved them out front to the reception area. I encourage all bravos who read this to frame your medals and display them proudly in your home or your office. It took me 30yrs to do it at the encouragement of my brother, Air Force Vietnam Vet (20yr fighter pilot, now Delta pilot). He got a group of Vietnam Vets together and built a Vietnam memorial behind the Roswell, GA City Courthouse (visit if you get a chance) it's very well done (dedication had Max Clealand(sp) in attendance and missing man fly by with Hueys and F16s). Done with all private funding and he (my bro) was the only nonarmy vet on the team (hence the huey fly by).
Thanks again for the site. This does help with the healing process even if we are never totally healed.
Garry Owen.
