Thanks to Dennis Blessing, I found my way here, to learn more about my HS boyfriend, Jay Shelby. Jay and I were corresponding when he was killed. Hi Patrick,
I was in the 1st Bn 7Cav in the first Cav Division most of 1966. I don't remember your dads name but the Cav was a huge unit. It would help you locate someone that knew your dad if you knew what unit in the Cav he belonged to.
On our LZBRAVO site there is another site listed called LZ RALLY. Click that on and go to other Vietnam links and then to the virtual wall and post a rememberance. Sometimes people run across these.
Also write or Call the 1st Cav paper and ask them to put something in for you. If you do know the unit Charles was in make sure you give that info to them. Eack sub-unit has a writer and their own artical in the newspaper.
